Morphine is perfectly safe to be used but that doesn't mean you should prescribe it for irritable bowel syndrome or headaches.
The symptoms they are describing are things that would have shown up before they even made it to human testing, this drug would not have ever even made it to production.
Now if it's side effects were caused by some unforeseen conflict with other drugs or conditions that may not have been noticed in testing that could make sense but again even a peep of this would have the FDA on them like ugly on a ape.
