It would be one thing if they just called it "original songs inspired by Jem", but they call it a tribute album....something I think most people equate to meaning "cover album", and not only that but they actually DO have the song titles of songs from the show

It's almost like they went out of the way to say fuck you

Whilst mostly true, it also is not. 'Glitter n Gold', 'Destiny' and one or two other actually use many of the lyrics from the original songs. So they are still covers to some extent.
