>What's being storytimed?
Incorruptible and Irredeemable, two comics written by Mark Waid that focus around the idea of a Superman-type going crazy, and a supervillain trying to replace him.
>Why are you doing this?
Because I always wanted to do more storytimes. Plus, I broke down and bought that stupid 4chan pass after two issues worth of multi-image captchas, so I might as well make sure you all get my money's worth.
>Why this order?
Because the two titles cross over at a certain point before wrapping up, and I hate reading a story when I only know half the characters.
>Where can I catch up?

This thread will wrap up both series, btw. Just squeaks in under the image limit.

>multi-image captchas
legacy mode bruh
>>83439010
>>83439020
Was it ever possible Tony would have turned out okay if he had one foster parent that genuinely loved him or was he doomed from the star ?
>>83439118
God damn it Quibit
And with that done, we'll switch back to the final issues of Irredeemable.
>>83439393
Such an asshole
And now, the final issues of Incorruptible.
>>83439911
So before Dr. Manhattan, it was Asian Tenth Doctor who created the DCU. Huh.
>>83439911
Neat
And so, our heroic child killer and jailbait lover gets his happy ending! Hope you all enjoyed the ride. There'll be more storytimes to come soon.
>>83440560
Shiit, I saw some of this storytimed years ago, good to know how it ends. Thanks op
Best part of my morning last couple days. Shame I always end up reading the archived threads because discussion is dead by then
>>83440560
Jesus, what a pointless story! I mean, I liked the concept, but the ending is basically "Yes, all the problems were solved in the other book."
WHY?
Is Incorruptible even worth reading?
>>83445137
Not really. The concept is good, but it never delivers. Basically, you think that Max is going to fight the Plutonian...But no, the Plutonian is stupidly powerful. Max would never have a chance.
Max actually shows up in the main book JUST TO SAY "God, fuck you guys, you're all stupid assholes. I'm gone."
>>83445266
Yeah, I read Irredeemable and wonder what the hell was going on with Max Damage. I'm pretty sure they have title page saying "The Plutonian VS Max Damage!" and yet nothing happens. It's like I'm supposed to know and care who this character is, but I don't.
>>83439911
fuck the haters (if any), I like this. I dont take it as canon obviously but it's a neat little what-if
>>83439906
>oiy gevalt
wasn't ready for that,
Thanks so much, OP! Just spent my entire last night and morning reading all of this.
Good story, I liked it.
I didn't think incorruptible was bad. Just disappointed that it didn't have much of an impact on Irredeemale
I kind of like the message for Incorruptible. Sometimes, you don't matter on a grand scale, but that doesn't give you the right to be a shitty person.
Ah fuck me. We never find out what did Max say to Tony to get him to pull out of Coalville.
>>83440560
Booo, i actually wanted the sex scene. It was a good running gag
TY Op. I have them on digital, but it is nice to see someone storytime it.
>>83440560
Made it.
Good job.
>>83438933
ty op!!!! you have made my week! 10/10 storytime
>>83439512
Eeewwwwwww.
I mean this is like a man wearing a corpse of a woman and forcing another man to fuck him.
>>83438933
Irredeemable is the best superhero deconstruction since Miracleman.
>>83448858
I thought it was something related to The Wolf Boy
>>83448858
>>83458802
Alright /co/ we have to figure what Max said to the Plutonian.
I think Max told Tony his original plan to take him down.
>He will never be your boyfriend
>>83461757
>wanting the ticking indestructible time bomb to be your husbando
>not wanting based Max instead
>>83461216
It doesn't matter
>>83461998
>Max
He is boring as hell.
>>83463835
But he's reliable and predictable. I prefer my husbando to be stable.
>>83439865
This page bothers me. It is specifically stated that his parents were contained with the radiation because if they moved they would kill countless people, not that it directly affected them. Waid has gone against his own canon.
>>83461216
Someone must know what he said?
>>83461757
>>83461998
Qubit is mine then.
>>83439590
Aw man this is fucked up
>>83465308
Quibit is the fucking worse.
What's next? Carey's your runner up husbando?
