I suppose it really depends on her ideals. Plants giving of themselves in the form of fruit fits with her nurturing aspect, and there's a big difference between eating fruit from a tree and razing a forest. Ivy traditionally is all about nature, and animals are an integral part of nature (including the plant lifecycle.) She cared enough to feed and care for children in No Man's Land.
On the other extreme though is the loopy Batman and Robin Ivy, who wanted to kill everything and leave only plants.
So I guess at the end of the day, we have to ask what Ivy's view of humanity is, and what her ideal world is- does she want humans to return to an agrarian balance with nature, where we give as much as we take, or does she think humans are only capable of taking from nature like Parasites and should be eradicated?
