I remembering watching this as a little kid thinking "hey a cartoon!' and immediately getting bored and disappointed.
Haven't seen it as an adult, so I probably shouldn't judge by that experience.

I remember watching a few episodes of this once because someone said the neighbor was like the prototype for Dale from King of the Hill.

From what I remember he was more of the "fuck the Jews" kind of conspiracy nut than the "believes in aliens" type.
