For instance Code Geass, Attack on Titan, Full Metal Alchemist all include characters from Alternate timelines of Europe, only a single character in AoT is of any Asian descent and she's mixed, the Asian characters of Full Metal are only mildly different from the Amestrians, in Code Geass the Britannians and Japanese are practically indistinguishable. Actual context informs of their ethnicity better than the artstyle. Meanwhile the typical artstyle in the comics clearly depicts a blonde haired blue eyed woman consistently. It's much easier to say she doesn't resemble the character at all.
