Just have her attend the con in whatever she went to bed in the previous night. She'll need to put on deodorant and brush her teeth for the sake of the other people there, but otherwise ensure she puts 0 effort into her appearance.

If you're feeling pro at props, grey lantern battery with a flickering light.
Hoodie should look like something fished out of the hamper, probably a dark color to contrast with the grey. Maybe a patch with the logo haphazardly sewn to the back, make the stitches visible.

That's what I'd go with if I wasn't so lazy to dress up at cons.
