Suits like that are impractical and stretch credibility too much with the magic masks. Look at Spider-Man.

They aren't magic, those are solely for the reading audience.
If I recall correctly, part of why people, in-universe, hate Spider-Man is that you can't see him emote, so he's super creepy when he isn't telling a joke.
