That is an incredible amount of troops for Rose to have if the cluster is mostly Crystal Gems.

I would say it lends evidence to Rose being very, very high up in the Imperial hierarchy.

tfw we will never see all the great battles and even greater loves, people who fight and die and rise up to fight again for what they believe in. Thousands upon thousands of years of war filled to the brim with heroes and villains that we only get a bare bones glimpse of.

It's a crying shame that we probably won't get an expanded look into the history of the Gems, or the Rose Rebellion, because there's a goddamn story there about multi-armed monstrosities, howling creatures who pull the very Earth and Ocean to their knees, a slave turned to a knight, and the relentless future that Rose Quartz saw coming.

Can you even imagine the tales that they could tell? A whole race of people who live and live and live and live, until all of the lights go out.

And when she got to homeworld, and apparently did not have billions of tons of water to use, she caved to authority immediately and told them whatever they wanted to know. She even told Steven to do the same. All she did was selfish, even fusing with Jasper - and when fused, she cooperated in fighting Alexandrite.

But people still are prepared to forgive her everything, because she is slender and cute. Fuck those people.

Jasper, on the other hand, did nothing morally objectionable. The Crystal Gems are her enemies and the enemies of the empire she was created to serve. They have shown her no kindness at all, and she has no reason to view them with anything else than hostility.

Nobody was permanently injured, not even Steven. Given how strong Jasper is, she must have been holding back.
