Captain America: Civil War Isn't The End Of The Avengers

I kinda figured as much. I guess they'll spend the first half of IF Part 1 with the individual members learning about Thanos and the Infinity Gems, while working through their issues.

Then they get bodied in the second half. Either that or someone dies, or they finally patch things up.

The second movie is gonna be the one with all the juicy parts.

I think it's because they've nailed the portrayal of Steve so well, and Evans has suggested he wants to retire from acting, that people want him to go out with a bang rather than a slow decline in quality.
Couple that with the fact that they've also nailed Bucky and Falcon, arguably making them more interesting than their comic counterparts (particularly in Falcon's case) that folks are excited for one of them to inevitably take up Caps mantle.

Tony's had untreated PTSD since Iron Man, so a lot of his actions can be blamed on that. Not all of them but a fair number of them can be. Until it gets addressed his judgement is always going to be a bit suspect. Actually, having him seek treatment for it would be a hell of a way to introduce Moonstone.

Apart from Stark mentioning offhand that Ultron was his fault, the events of AoU were pretty much handwaved away. The only reference to Sokovia was about civilian casualties, even though AoU was all about them getting all the civilians out.

So in sum, Tony and Wanda were both better characters in Civil War than they were in AoU.

I think the big problem with Age of Ultron was that it had way too many fight sequences that it came off as fast pace and all over the place.

I mean Incredible Hulk showed people never stopped making Super-Soldiers and Ross wants his own Super-Soldier so I can see him offering someone, even Walker the chance to be Cap.

What I want most out of a post-credits scene is one big thank you from Stan Lee, Kevin Feige, all the directors and actors. Just one big thank you, no tease of future movies, just thanking the audience for sticking around for 11 years and reaching the end of the ride.

Crossbones is pretty minor in this universe. He couldn't really play a generic henchman for much longer, and it's not as if he could ever be a real threat. Not this one.

I don't know if people are so attached to the Hulkbuster scene or anything, but I could have done without it, or with it being less significant a portion of the movie. It adds very little to the story as a whole, and mostly just seems like fan-service. That time could have been used to establish the villain's motivation better, or give the new Avengers more lines.
