So I just started my joruney with Marvelnot really DC fag or something but usually I'm sticking with Image, Valiant, Dark Horse and DC
For now I'm reading Avengers v5 (10th issue right now) and I like it but I feel like it's not the best point to start. I mean, is there anything like DC new52 for Marvel, where I can jump in into whole universe and understand everything or the most things from the beginning?

Naturally, it doesn't cover most recent things but you'll get the idea.

Getting into the universe is dumb. If you want some good shit to read I can tell you that.

Yes it's called Fantastic Four vol 1.

Not that anon, but I'd like some recs.
Only Marvel stuff I read so far are Miller and Bendis DD, Brubaker Cap, Punisher MAX, Ultimates 1 and 2 and some of the recent ongoings. Oh yeah and Old Man Logan by Millar, anything else self contained like this one? I really enjoyed it.

I will give it a chance but I would like something "newer" - still thanks
>>82691383
Sure, I would be grateful - that's why I started this thread

Try Spiderman; Reign.
Tis basically "old man Peter Parker"
All self contained.

>For now I'm reading Avengers v5
As somebody who admittedly skipped to the end I feel for you.

>reading marvel
No. Please. Trust me. Marvel may have the better movies but they've been dumbing their stuff down and they just lost a lot of great writers.

Iron Man: Extremis and Moon Knight both from Warren Ellis are good self contained stories, even if both are in continuity.

Earth X.
The story takes place in an alternate universe but it's basically an almanac of Mahvel lore.
