This time, everyone's reasons for choosing a side is pretty murky. Like Blue Marvel thinks the idea of stopping crimes before they happen is an abhorrent abuse of human rights, BUT thinks Ulysses would be the ultimate early warning system for natural disasters and alien invasions. Imagine being able to know that Hurricane Katrina would destroy the New Orleans dam or that Thanos was about to lead an attack on Earth while the Avengers were off in space. Countless lives could be saved.

The inhumans aren't even pro-minority report, they just don't want Iron Man kidnapping one of their citizens since they see that as an act of war.

Magneto is going to go all "KILL ULYSSES" not because of the implications of his powers, but because he doesn't want the Inhumans to have an asset like that on their side for the eventual mutant vs. inhuman war round 2.

There's actually a lot of genuinely interesting points that could be levied on all the sides, but unfortunately, Bendis is too genuinely stupid to make use of any of that. Let's just hope that whatever contrived bullshit he comes up with for the main book doesn't fuck up the potentially interesting tie-ins.

By this logic, person that suggested existence of Mutant Registration Act should be arrested for causing a possible mutant genocide in an offshoot timeline. Except, here's the thing - wouldn't ALMOST ALL actions cause terrible consequences in SOME future due to butterfly effect? I'm sure there exists a timeline where Hulk rules the Earth with iron fist as a dictator - should he be arrested? In fact - what do you mean by "seeing future"? Why should SOME possible timelines be prioritized over the other?

Like, should you be arrested for carrying to term a child that will grow up to be a supervillain?
