I like Immonen much better around the mid-'00s (Nextwave and such). Before that there was always something a little "watery" about his style.

He uses the same inker now that he did then so that's not the difference, I think he just improved.

He kind of got the shaft because "guy who feels uncomfortable in the big leagues" is never going to be a good characterization.
