Season hasn't been terrible as a whole but I feel like certain things have been dragged on wayy to long and the filler episodes have been quiet poor. Don't think Zoom has been a great antagonist either, sure he's menacing but I just find the whole 'bring me the Flashs speed' thing a bit boring now.

Biggest problem the series has had is that it takes certain elements that SHOULD be cooler (alternate universes, character references and appearances, Zoom himself) and they instead play them in the most boring way possible.

When it's good, it's fucking great, but there's been some baffling decisions made in regards to writing and direction on some aspects.

Earth 2 was pretty cool, high point of the season, even. If only Iris was this based in Earth 1, we'd have much better shit going on. Zoom, I feel, lost a lot of momentum not only because of the lack of characterisation, but because they decided to ramp up the filler drama this season to the point where it was all Jay did and where everything else he COULD have been doing was taken up by Felicity 2.0. It's not just Jay that's suffered there, either. Wally got sidelined and buried for a shitty nu52 OC as well.
