Her entire character is built around being white.
Her name is literally "White Snow," she's themed after Snow White, she's rich and has paper-white skin.
Blake, on the other hand, is a furry minority, supposedly oppressed and even her name means "black."
Hence why Blake gets constantly hit by the minority ray and Weiss only when the artist wants to draw attention to the contrast.

On their after shows or whatever Miles and Kerry were all "Yeah Roman died there, we did it to show the seriousness of the Grimm." and "Yeah Pyrrha's dead and we planned that from the start and told Jen Brown from the start and that's why she got all that random screentime so people would care and the locker thing was set up in Vol 1."

If they referred to them as anything else, everyone would assume that the character ISN'T dead by default. You need to say that they're dead, simple as that.

People have assumed Jon Snow was dead because the creators and the actor keep saying he's dead, and that Kit Harrington is only in this season of Game of Thrones to play a dead body, despite there being in-universe means to reverse his death nearby the characters location.
And sure enough, it was already leaked in the trailer that he ends up alive and well.

It's a classic story telling trope.
