The CGI was overtly obvious this week when it came to Barry. I feel like since they are improving it they feel like its good enough to just show close ups of his cgi face. I liked it better when the cg was bad enough to where they had to be clever and work around showing his face either by blocking it, moving it too fast, or by having a practical shot of him temporarily stopping during a cgi battle.

Wellsobard this episode was the perfect example of why Jay is so shit. The tension you feel when Wells is on screen is enough to choke your heart. He's a perfect villain.

When I see Jay I don't really feel anything.

They're fucking retarded for reusing season 1's twist. They should have made Zoom a legit evil speed demon no identity shit, kept Jay as a veteran badass speedster who slowly regains his powers over the season while training Barry (instead of the fucking joke he turned out to be), and have the season end with Barry having a heartfelt goodbye to Jay as they seal up Earth 2, with Barry having rebuilt confidence now that his new mentor didn't fuck him over.

Oh and remove Patti because she literally did fucking nothing.

I can't really fault Jay's actor for being boring when they give him nothing to work with. Granted he could be a boring actor but the bigger problem is the writers didn't give Jay much to do.

Just disappointed there weren't major timeline changes visible in the season, I was hoping Barry screwed up something really big, like maybe Reverse Flash ended up being defeated differently.

Why don't they just wait a year and then re-case someone else as Patti? Surely they could find another actress with good on-screen chemistry with Grant. Why write off a good character just because the actress took a more reliable job? Hate when shows do that. Are audiences really that confused when a different actor takes over a character?

I know thinking about time travel in a show like this is useless, but really

After Present Barry left the past, all the main characters would have the knowledge of Present Barry coming into their timeline and the idea of time travel being a thing.

So the scene at the start of this episode would be totally different, they would knowingly be sending Barry back because they saw him appear in their past ... also Barry would now have knowledge of what he did in the past as Present Barry 1 so he would have to mimic what he did the first time exactly in order to not fuck up the timeline (even though he fucks up the timeline all the time)
