WHY!?! FUCKING WHY?!? I can accept GaMaC for parental nostalgia, and the fact that preschool shows have the lowest level of expectations; period. BUT WHAT WHY THE FUCK EVERSTAR!?! I legitimatly wanted Everstar to be good as a fan of scifi and steampunk and etc. But every aspect of that show is either mediocre, AND/OR cliched. It's all overplayed shit. Realms Eternal far above and beyond every other pilot they had. I suppose if we are Lucky, Netflix might pick it up, but they typically don't sift through other networks trash for decent pilots.

I watched a good chunk and here's what I have to say

Meat Pie was nice to look at and as far as "2 to 3 kids do random shit" the idea of two southern rednecks scamming people seems nice

Torom Tellum was cute as shit. The froyo thing wasn't that good of an angle for stupid little stories but still.

Menehunes reminds me of a decent version of the all the Smurf ripoffs that came about in the 80s and 90s and I'd like to see it expand.

Magic Children is great just like everyone else said.

But then so many of them are either ugly to look at, bad concepts, or just stupid shows.

A good chunk are just the standard "2 to 3 kids do random shit" like Magic Hour, Jo Minkus, Werebeast, and the Night Crew are all just that. Even the gimmick of "but they animals" was used in literally half these shorts so it just looks like the same thing.

Some of them were alright shorts (and I'd imagine not all of these serve as trying to be a pilot). By Request Pizza was unoffensive but I can't imagine you could ever make anything out of it. On the flip side Planet Claire was clearly just a series pitch and its completely manic bullshit that sucked.

Then some are just ugly as fucking sin. The worst offenders are the shitty meerkat thing, the tall tale of urchin, and Ziptronik Megablast is Problem Solverz levels of ugly as fuck both still framed and in motion.

I liked Magic Children and Torom Tellum the most and the absolute worst one is by far Ice Station Zedonk.
