Any artists who raw good looking women/girls? I'd like references for drawing. Phil Noto is a favorite of mine.
Also, pretty girl/good girl/hot girl art thread?
>>80938113
Xav comes to mind. Character Designer/Artist for wakfu. I think he does equal parts vidya and the cartoon.
>>80938973
>Those hips
Thanks anon! I'm also looking for artists that resemble Glen Keane's style. Wish that man had an artbook.
>>80941230
The artist for Silk is good too. I don't have many examples.
>>80941336
>>80941230
Goodness that stuff is pretty. Is it Oil Paint? Gauche?
If so, I'd suggest Ashley Wood. Oil, and general mixed and multi media artist (does toys and figures as well). Famed mostly for doing big bulky heavy machinery looking robots, and feminine figures with exaggerated proportions.
I think he's done stuff for Tank Girl, and Metal Gear (specifically Peace Walker).
There's Frank if you're cool with sameface and thick bitches.
Nicola Scott.
>>80941355
Guri Hiru is a must for the cartoony, animated style.
>>80941423
That looks fantastic.
>>80941474
For months I debated whether or not to get his book - glad I decided on not. I like his style but I wanted to learn from it. And I can learn the same things from Andrew Loomis.
>>80941423
I'd like to just mention that I also think he's just a generally badass artist.
>>80941474
>work at Hastings
>getting into drawing
>order this book and Scott McCloud's Making Comics to the store
>Cho's book gets there first
>coworkers now make fun of me for it
why is life suffering /co/
>>80941528
He's mostly transitioned from comics art and illustration to higher art pieces to my knowledge. Collectibles and whatnot.
>>80941517
Cho's book has its place. Loomis draws advertising model tier women, and while he does an okay job of explaining the basics, Cho will help you put the meat and muscle in.

>For months I debated whether or not to get his book - glad I decided on not. I like his style but I wanted to learn from it. And I can learn the same things from Andrew Loomis.
In much more detail, I might add. His book is more of a showcase than anything, and not a good one compared to his Women book series. If one were to raw from him, you'd better off with those books than that one.
>>80941600
Of course. Loomis is basics, Cho is the garnish and such. But as far as instructional books go, Cho's book shouldn't have tried because it feels lazy in comparison. Less space for more of his drawings, this way.
Is this hand drawn or computer made. And if so what programs?
>>80941588
I'll be honest I like his Robot Stuff best of all.
Though he did do a comic or two back in the day called RZA "Robots vs Zombies vs Amazons".
Which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like.
>>80941725
I heard that was really good. Funny good.
>>80941693
Gurihiru's stuff? I'd assume traditional first, then touched up digitally.
>>80941497
Thank you. Her stuff reminds me of Terry Dodson, actually.
>>80941798
>I heard that was really good. Funny good.
Yeah it is. Like its entirely self contained and niche, and pretty much exists cause its what they all wanted to do. It makes me wonder why people haven't storytimed it.
I have the book somewhere in my closet.I've always wanted to story time stuff, but my scanner is tiny, do i just dig up a cbr of it and get the images from that or what
>>80938113
Marek Jaroki is a guy I found through a /co/ recommended tumblr artists thread a while back. does a lot of very good looking pen and ink drawings and figures. Posts short vids on his process too sometimes
>>80942073
Just gonna post a few more things.
>>80942073
>>80941798
Gurihiru is all digital, baby. They said so in an interview themselves.
>>80942073
and another for the road.
Bruce Timm fits into that category where he only really draws one lady, but I really like that one lady he draws.
>>80942441
Is Darwyn Cooke better or worse in that regard?
man, some really good taste going on on this thread
Jaime Hernandez, Terry Dodson
>>80943285
Cooke is waay better than Timm, especially regarding pin ups
God Bless Chris Sanders.
>>80943719
His stuff is great!
>>80941798
>Thank you. Her stuff reminds me of Terry Dodson, actually.
She's quite the looker herself.
How about Olivier Vatine? He's got an artbook you could check out.
>>80938113
Adam Hughes. Enough said.
>>80944001
Her works in Black Magick is stunning.
>>80938113
That same face
>>80945395
Nut it's such a good face.
Besides, these two look nothing alike.
>>80942154
Reminds me of Giannis Milonogiannis.
>>80946740
Just wanna say, I hate that guy's name.
>>80946906
I do too, I believe Brandon Graham just calls him by Yawny.
>>80944824
Came here to post this.
>>80946740
Just looked him up. and Yeah definitely in terms of how they render their pen and ink stuff.
>>80938113
Phil Noto is like the classier version of Frank Cho. There's a sort of golden age elegance to a lot of his women but, like Cho, he suffers from sameface quite a bit.
>>80947283
Nicola Scott's Black Magick.
>>80950064
What happens next?
>>80950151
She sets him on fire with magic.
>>80949993
Notoface > Choface
Not /co/ but Kouhei Horikoshi draws fantastic girls in natural poses. His girls really stand out to me and he's a great artist in general. Pic related.
>>80947286
>>80946740
He's great. Guillaume Singelin and Valentin Seiche have similar linework too.
FRANK CHO
I like Emanuela Luppachino's girls, even though she sometimes has a sameface problem. Still, not as bad as others.
>>80951992
>>80950488
>Kouhei Horikoshi
>his
>>80943719
Any collections of his work? Like a book or something? Those proportions, unf.
>>80950488
I don't wanna post too much /a/ but something about how Toriyama used to draw women in the 80s really appeals to me.
>>80950259
No... I think Noto's same face has too large a nose most of the time and lacks the expressiveness of Cho's recant faces.
No living man draws women like Adam Hughes
>>80953415
Yeah it's really hard to draw 'em more boring that that.
Who is the girl with dark/red hair sitting? Who is brown girl with short hair behind her?
And who is the girl next to powergirl?(on the left on pic)
>>80953563
Black woman is vixen I think, left of PG is probably Black Canary, red head sitting down is Batwoman
