I read multiversity recently and the Marvel's story/world was brilliant. Was that it's own thing in new 52? I haven't read ongoings in a long long time, I tend to just pick up trades that interest me.
No other medium is able to keep up with Morrison
>>80831706
>tfw it isn't canon anymore
>>80834405
>Johns GL isn't canon anymore
You silly billy.
>>80834249
No, I don't think anything in Multiversity has been played up yet. Maybe when Morrison gets around to the sequel.
Really liked the GJ run of JSA

>>80834503
That's a shame. I'd read a captain Marvel like that no questions.
>>80834670
I need more of him. What should I read?
>>80838402
He only appears in Kingdom Come and in the JSA arc "Thy Kingdom Come" basically.

My nigga. Always and forever, it will be my favorite comic run
Cliche answer I know but still
>tfw all hope is not lost
Honestly, gotta go with Gotham Central.
They're just normal people with no powers or unlimited money living in a world where freaks and madmen run around causing chaos every day.
>>80834432
Not like in the way we know it as
One punch probably didn't happen. Kyle as main GL probably didn't happen
>>80840859
One Punch was referenced in Red Lanterns and I think as well in the early JLI series. Kyles run doesn't entirely make sense with that "5 year" rule but it's still there otherwise a lot of things don't make sense like Oa not being destroyed, Guardians being alive and most of what led up to Rebirth. Besides, GL is Johns' baby. He basically just continued on with his story despite the Nu52 starting.
>>80840496
this
for me, Transmetropolitan and Planetary
Every time
>>80840304
Who's the Masters of the Universe looking guy in the bottom left?
>>80842134
Magog
>>80841789
my man
>>80840379
Every time I see that first panel I can't help but think he's about to drop a sick beat.
>>80842199
>That's a character that Mark Waid invented that was really just put to me like come up with the most God awful, Rob Liefeld sort of design that you can. What I was stealing from was - really only two key designs of Rob's - the design of Cable. I hated it. I felt like it looked like they just threw up everything on the character - the scars, the thing going on with his eye, the arm, and what's with all the guns? But the thing is, when I put those elements together with the helmet of Shatterstar -- I think that was his name -- well, the ram horns and the gold, suddenly it held together as one of the designs that I felt happiest with in the entire series. -Alex Ross
HAH! thats pretty awesome, i still need to read Kingdom Come, not sure why I haven't already other than the sheer amount of books I want to read in general
>>80842514
>he
>>80835660
Read convergence Shazam.
