The R.S. Arkos, the first dreadnought to sail the shipping seas.

The first to be sunk, dashed against the rocks of earth by Miles and splintered by the bombs of the sky by Kerry.

The ship flounders, and dips under, surrendering to the darkness, much to the horror and bemusement of the anchored crafts ashore. Their crewmen laugh, the crewmen sigh, all wondering who was able to survive the demise of the massive warship, who was able to escape the death throes of the fandom's finest craft.

Little do they know, I remain. As do others.

I am one of the many mariners of the Dread Ship Arkos, maintainer of the condemned craft, and despite the water in my lungs and the mollusks in my heart, I carry out my duty. I unfurl the sails, I scrub the deck clean, I sheer the grime off of the bow.

We will proceed, hunting those who dare blaspheme the ocean with wanton hubris. We shall drag them down to the ocean floor, laugh as their fanart and fanfictions sink into the infinite blackness, the smearing tar of uncanonity, as they scream for breath and reason. The minute vindication of their demise shall only amuse us temporarily: we are united by our killers, the forces of M and K. The bitterness unites us all, but we carry the bloody torch of resolve. We shall ride the tide of blackness, survive, and chart our course.

And when they all sink, their bloated corpses will be the buoy on which our dreadnought will rise once more, and sail strong and far into the air and sun and sky.

I promise you.

I suspect that the "silver eyes" thing is a red herring, and that it really is just nothing more than a rare eye color that Ruby and her mom had. She probably got the maiden powers from Summer when she died (since it's pretty reasonable to guess that Summer's last thoughts would've been of her daughter) and Qrow was just spinning the silver eye tale as a way to tell Ruby she has the potential to be a powerful warrior (holding back the actual fact that she has maiden powers, since they try to keep the maidens safe through secrecy and she's probably too immature to not blab about it to someone if she knew that she and her mother were maidens)

Ok ,so I've been rewatching the season and one thing has really bothered me.
How the fuck does Winter not know what bunkbeds are? If Atlas is all military and Nazi shit, aren't bunkbeds up there with shit food and asshole Lieutenants who purposefully fuck with you but get all defensive when during a weapons inspection you mention it is clean enough to blow their head off.

To all the anons who are pointing out that her heart was pierced by an arrow: It's safe to say what Cinder used wasn't an arrow in any normal sense. A regular physical projectile that was strong enough to bury deep into her torso would have knocked her flat on her back, especially at that range. There's also the obvious fact that unlike the first shot, which landed in her heel and simply wounded her, the second shot caused her to magically disintegrate.

With that said I think it's irrelevant whether or not her heart was actually wounded, since I think she's simply become disincorporated and will be resurrected at a later time.
