Given his themes, I would agree redemption is unlikely, unless somebody way higher up the food chain wrecks his shit and he has a long time to contemplate how badly he's fucked up.

More likely, him and Blake will have a very samurai showdown and after she beats him and probably mortally wounds him, he'll realize at the end the dumb choices he made, or possibly after another confrontation with Blake another villain will try and finish her off and he takes the hit for her without thinking in that classic "oh right, I was a person with regular person feelings once" moment.

I'm still confused on what exactly SSSN's purpose is. CFY, yeah they're only there because Velvet was a fan favorite, I can get that, but I still don't get what the deal with SSSN is.
