I know it's not apart of the big two, but this deserves a storytime.
Nowhere Men #7
>>79162417
OP appears to have died, so I'll finish this up.
Did this go on a huge hiatus or something? Bump anyway.
>>79163490
Yeah. IIRC, the artist fell into a major depressive episode and was struggling to complete the issues.
I remember reading this back when it wasn't on hiatus. Could never get into it and had a really hard time fallowing what was going. All I remember was tons of world build via flashbacks a faux news article. I dropped it right before it went on an indefinite hiatus
>>79162404
It's been so long I have no idea what the previous issues were about. Something about mad science monsters and immortality and the Beatles and spaceships or something
I think I'm just going to read it when it's all out.
Good on you, OP: I'd storytime the first six issues if I wasn't ass deep in exams.

>>79164409
I'm planning on storytiming the first six issues once they're downloaded.
And good luck on your exams anon.
>>79164449
Much obliged.

I enjoyed the fuck out of this. I had really high hopes for where this story was going. This is obviously a real slow burner story, that could have some real depth to it and Stephenson has to go all "Waa waa. I'm too depressed to write"
You write comic books for a living motherfucker, for fucks sake. Then we got that abomination that was They are not like us.
God damn it Stephenson. Get back to writing this brilliant comic you fucker.
>>79164911
Stephenson was never depressed, it was his artist who was throwing a bitch fit and being super self centered.
Would you all want the other issues in this thread, or would you like me to start a new one?
>>79165208
This thread.
>>79165221
Alright, good enough.
>>79164993
was this on BC or some other secret comic gossip rag?
Well, it IS apart of the big two. It is NOT a part of them however.
Anyway, glad to see it back.
>>79165247
Awesome, thanks.
If I disappear again, it's because I have to resize some of the spreads.
>>79163027
Thanks anon.
And you >>79162404 don't namefag yourself if you're not going to complete storytime.
>>79162404
I've been asking about this at my FLCS for about two months now. I'll be very upset if I don't have a copy waiting for me next week.
>7
Wait a fucking minute. I thought the trade ended with issue 5? Am I wrong? Did I seriously miss a fucking issue of this shit?
>>79167178
Nope, the trade goes to 6.

>Your next line will be....

>hitting a rock creature with a keyboard
Desperation, I guess. Then again, if that's a Model M, it might actually work...

I really love these Nowhere Men ad segments
And that's that. Hope you all enjoyed it.
>>79169691
I like this. Thanks anon.
>>79169691
Thank you for finishing the storytime, anon. I really dropped the ball when I realized I was gonna be busy as soon as I started posting. I really appreciate it.
Thanks for spreading the word about this book! Hopefully it makes a small difference to keep it afloat past issue 12!

Karma, everyone.
Thanks, storytime anon.
>>79169784
Not a problem, man. It's Image, so there's no worry about cancellation from low sales; what I'm interested in seeing is if they can build back up the hype they had before the delays. That's probably what'll determine if there will be more.
Excellent series so far.

Thomas!
