If there's any consistent thing about Batgirl fans, it's that anything made before the current run is golden and the current run is trash. /co/ hated this when it was coming out (until the Damian issue) but the second the Gail Simone run started everybody had loved it from the beginning. Gail Simone's incredibly awful, terrible run is now being praised simply because it's what came before.

What's everyone talking about? Tumblr was pissed for the longest time that Cass and Steph got shafted. And that Burnside Babs was ripping off Steph's book.

When they announced Steph was coming in Eternal, they bitched it wasn't Cass first. They bitched about Cass looking more white than usual in Convergence and that she should have been the focus.

Tumblr loves Cass and Steph and even more importantly StephCass.
