Definitely, I think that Elba is usually cast toward more stoic characters...which I think does his talent for more playful characters a disservice...but it would have changed heavily.

I live about a 10 minute walk away from a smallish theater that tends to do arthouse festival circuit kinda movies, I think people must be overlooking it for the IMAX AVX DBOX WHAT EVER THE FUCK MEGASCREENING showings since none of their TFA screenings are sold out. Nice comments, most of the ire for the third movie was later clarified as his character spends 99% of the movie in a mascot suit...and they actually had HIM in the suit. Not some stunt double.

I think that, despite the quality of plots and budget seemingly being slashed every time, the first three are nominally okay.
But the third one was a "the end"...the fourth is just excessive
