That's the thing: as of the first episode, she's a bit of a bitch. But, in the prequel episode where they discover Lyoko, she starts out as rather sweet (if a bit sassy). During the episode, she, along with Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi, is entrusted with the existence of Lyoko's secret by Jeremie (who just discovered it), but, Daddy's girl that she is, she snitches on the others. Her memory of all of this is erased by a return to the past, but the Lyoko warriors still hate her for it. Presumably, their attitudes caused hers to deteriorate.
