9 years, I'm 24, I think I've shown improvement but I still am not where I wish I could be. Then again I learned animation, not illustration, so my knowledge base for art may not be the same as someone who wants to make a single great looking image.

It already has lore, it's exactly as developed as it needs to be for something completely tangential and secondary to the show as it is.

I dont think the Truman show theory has any real backup, on top of being trite. It's far more likely that the universe itself is broken in some way than simply built around gumball. The looping unfinished highways, the forest of doom, the mutant creatures and the endless desert all make it look like it's 'unfinished'.
