Why, I do believe it's time for obscure Curt Swan comics!
But enough about me, how was your weekend?
Yeah, I decided it was miserly of me not to start with Swan's very early work, so I'm going back on my earlier decision. It'll take me into the New Year, but what the hell... I kinda missed Kirby's boy gangs.
Just to clarify, Swan only drew the covers for this and the next three stories, but I do like a nice little cover story.
Cool.

I just got hired for an office gig in London, which is great!
But it means I'll have less time to get fit and do maths and prepare for my AOSB Briefing in January.
But it means I won't be homeless!
Basically this is going to be a very busy time for me but it should be alright.

Damn good job, Anon!
That's enough classic Curt for today...
... it's 18 days until Christmas, so let's have a Christmas comic by John Byrne!
That's enough holiday cheer for now...
... Freddie Adkins was born 121 years ago today...
... Clarence Nash was born 111 years ago...
... Eli Wallach was born 100 years ago...
... Ted Knight, who narrated Super Friends, would've been 92 today...
... Kenneth Colley is 78 today...
... Tom Waits, whose music has featured on Hellboy and Shrek 2, is 66...
... Jeffrey Wright is 50...
... C. Thomas Howell is 49...
... Patrice O'Neal would've been 46 today...
... Rube Goldberg died 45 years ago today...
... Shiri Appleby is 37...
... Jack Huston is 33...
... Will Lee died 33 years ago...
... Nicholas Hoult is 26...
... as is Caleb Landry Jones...
... Mark Ritts, who did puppet work for The Pink Panther Show and Starstuff, died 6 years ago...
... Harry Morgan died 4 years ago...
... and Ken Weatherwax died a year ago.
Well, I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow, knock on wood, with some more Golden Age Crt Swan and seasonal cheer, as well as the usual stuff.
Thanks, OP.
