Why didn't Aku send Jack 1000 years into the past? That way there'd be no time magic, and he'd die of old age.
>>
Cuz he'd just slash down the Aku-tree and Aku wouldn't be able to do anything about it because he wasn't alive yet.
>>
>>77995715
he got sent back in time to cavemans in the last episode and still got to him
>jump good
>>
>>77995715
>send a super disciplined samurai to the past

So he could amass an army all prepared to fuck you up?
>>
>>77995715
Aku existed as a mindless patch of darkness for millennia before Jack entered the story. It was only an arrow, covered with a poison/potion (designed to drive it out) that condensed the evil within the dark blight into Aku.

Jack's sword however, could still have harmed the blight. The sword was forged mystically by the very gods that defeated the larger darkness that the blight came from, so his sword would harm it just as effectively. The blight would have been mindless and an easier fight.

So, Jack could have killed Aku before he was born in a sense.

Portals in time also seem to exist naturally in certain mystical places, so Jack might have gotten back either way.
>>
>>77995715
I was always under the impression Aku couldn't do that. He can banish the Samurai to the future which just means keeping him frozen in the portal or another realm or whatever while time passes normally. But even the mighty Aku isn't a chronomancer. He never demonstrates any real time travel abilities that couldn't be explained some other way.
>>
>>77995715
Better question, why didn't he try to dispose of the sword? He stops Jack's dad from getting it but still leaves it in the case to be saved by his mother, apparently. Better yet, don't send Jack into the future, just send his sword. Then he can't get it back, humanity is guaranteed doomed for however long, and even if it doesn't just become some antique garbage, what are the odds somebody as well-trained as Jack would get their hands on it?
>>
>>77997495
Maybe those same gods would have just made another sword?

The sword was made of Jack's father's entirely righteous ki/qi/soul (whatever) after he went questing for a way to defeat Aku.

Jack probably would have qualified to make another.
>>
considering Aku clearly had teleportation magic, why didn't he just send Jack into the center of the earth?
>>
>>77995715
Jack would worn the people of the past about Aku's arrival, so then Japan would have been ready for when he attacks.

>>77995715
if aku sent Jack 1000 years into the future and realized that Jack is still strong, why doesn`t Aku just send him forward 1000 more years, when he`s more predominant/has the technological advancements to kill the Jack?

If Aku can teleport his entire fortress anywhere in the world every month, why doesn't he just teleport Jack into space or into Earth's mantle?
>>
>>77998254
Because then he couldn't live out his fetish of being a green qt pi seducing his nemesis.
>>
>>77997495
Could be the same magic that makes the sword the perfect weapon against Aku also keeps him from being able to affect it directly.

The real, real, REAL question is why Aku didn't just transport him to the bottom of a volcano, or an ocean trench, or just outside the Earth's atmosphere.
>>
>>77998380
Because the time portal was a close range attack, and Jack learned a bit too much from his first fight with Aku.

Basically, Aku tries his thing and then is always set to bail. The time warp thing was a last resort.

Also, Aku is proud in a weird, almost laughable kind of way. He would rather try 1000 idiotic plans than admit Jack is his superior and start from scratch (in the further future).
>>
>>77998460
>>77998413
>>77998254
I think his teleportation spell/ability is shot from his eyes in a beam.

Jacks sword can block/reflect Aku's eye beams. Maybe Aku doesn't want to accidentally end up in the center of the Earth, and have to deal with that.

>tfw Jack will never, ever get back to the past
>>
>>77998715
We have another season anon. There's still hope.
>>
>>77995715
Because time travel in general is very inconsistent and unreliable. It makes more plotholes than anything else.
>>
>>77999135
>We
fuck off dude
>>
>>77995715
The real answer to this and all the other questions is that Aku is a fucking weird guy who on some level was looking forward to jack coming back so he'd be able to mess with him. Aku's strange and gets off on making people miserable. I try not to question the eldritch evil being of pure darkness and evil.
>>
Does Jack know that once he goes back, everything he's done in the future will be undone?
>>
The time travel t hing was something Aku did right before the final blow was struck. He probably didn't have time to put much thought into it.
>>
>>77997495
He tried onJack and The Zombies.

Jack got it back, and it's damm difficult to separarem it from him.
>>
Stop trying to push logic into this you retards, the answer to all plot holes of the show is: Because it is a episodic show so we can't have real resolution of conflict.

SJ is not for plot and logic ,it is for fun.
>>
>>77995715
There is plenty of magical means to get time travel. Whatch the fucking show.

The Portal and the Guardian for example, would still be there. The diferente, is that Aku would not be able to try to kill Jack.
>>
>>77998254
>>77998413

To Aku, just killing Jack isn't good enough, nor necessary, nor does his magic seem to work that conveniently.

Aku need's to defeat Jack, to be able to prove himself better than Jack. They are almost siblings after all. Jack's dad is the one who created Aku.
>>
>>77999686
do i fit in yet
>>
>>77995715
Because he already hadn't done it.
>>
>>77996130
What? No, dude. That was neither the last episode, nor did it take place in the past.
>>
>>77998413
I think he can teleport his fortress because it's tied to himself. It's like an extension of self-teleportation.
>>
>>78001669
Probably not since in that ep with the monks Jack gives up going to the past in order to save them from being beaten to death by statues. If he took the portal to the past he would've saved them since they wouldn't be in that situation. Jack is too kind for his own good. His own heart defeats him every time.
>>
>>77995715

Because Aku is a terrible villian
>>
>>78004005

feast upon defecation
>>
>>77997539
His sword is destroyed in the comics and he pulls another one out of his soul after being tested by the gods.
>>
But if Jack goes back to the past and kills Aku, wouldn't that undo everything in the future, and none of the good, decent people he's met and influenced will ever be born? Isn't he effectively killing the entire future planet's population?

>in b4 multiple timelines
>>
>>78005199
I'm pretty sure he'll realize this in the future and decides to kill Aku in the future instead of the past.
(this is probably also why we saw old Jack in the time portal)
>>
>>77997286
No he was trapped. The potion backfired and freed him. The Blight was just a byproduct of Aku being trapped
>>
>>77998715
>will never, ever get back to the past
He clearly does. The Time Portal guardian saw a vision of the Future where Jack as an old man and wearing a crown would be the one the portal was waiting for
>>
>>77995715
>Send someone into the past
>butterfly effect

>implying time magic hasn't always existed since the beginning of time
>implying Jack wouldn't have found a time portal in the past

if a time portal exists in the future, chances are high that they existed in the past, this is like sci-fi 101

Nice shitpost OP can't wait until the new season in 2016
