In 2000 a group in Marvel consisting of Brian Michael Bendis, Warren Ellis, Joe Quesada, Grant Morrison, Mark Millar, and Bill Jemas launched a new line entitled Ultimate Marvel. The goal was to modernize and update the characters and stories from 616 for a new audience.

How is everyone this morning?
This is one of the first comics i ever bought, i was like 12 and USM really helped me get into comics.
I really thought Miles' was going to be a second coming of this, but fucking Bendis ruined it when he made basically every storyline tied to his origin instead of focusing on Miles having new and exciting adventures fightin Ultimate versions of silver age villains (really thought he was going to fight guys like Kangaroo)

Wait, they actually show up so early in this run? Man, that's actually pretty cool. With all of that foreshadowing, too.
>>77948144
Daredevil is a massive asshole in Ultimate, and he is only around very briefly before he dies in Ultimatum
>>77948144
I think OP means the miniseries since that's next in the link in the OP. Gives their college back story.

No offense, but that reading order is kinda shit, and it's missing several things.
>>77948817
I should also add, thanks for doing this. I fucking love the UU.
>>77948817
If you have a better one I would graciously accept it.

I've always used that one for my rereads. I think it's mostly grouped by trade too.
>>77948499
That's the one! But then I saw this:
>>77949566
>Ultimatum in issue order
>All of the Secret Wars and Spider-Verse stuff
Thanks! Now I want to storytime all of Hickman's stuff too. I can't seem to find a torrent for SHIELD and Secret Warriors though.
>>77945346
Not amazing, but your storytiming has made today better!
>>77949850
>SHIELD
You might just skip that one to be honest
>>77949566
>greentexting links
complete cunt
>>77949850
No problem. And yeah it's pretty detailed.
As for Hickman stuff, I fucking love all of it. SHIELD isn't done yet, but it should be finishing "soon."
>>77950075
Well, if you can find me Secret Warriors and SHIELD I'll storytime them as we get closer to Secret Wars. I've been meaning to read them all in order. Have his FF and Avengers downloading.
