Max Schreck was more entertaining than Penguin. The scene between Penguin and Catwoman where they do small threats to each other/each other's animals was one of the worst moments in superhero cinema.

i always really liked the psychological elements of Burton's Batman, like how rather than just being driven to avenge his parents, its hinted that he's not quite right in the head in a different way, like he might have the same sort of madness his villains had. I also like that he was able to try and have relationships with women
