No. Legacy created an interesting world. The Galactic Alliance, a ruling triumvirate of Jedi-Republic-Remant and the Sith hanging out in the background as well as Imperial Knight and Jedi Knights fighting them. It's just Legacy v1's protagonist Cade really had a horrible arc that pretty much froze his development after his first confrontation with Darth Krayt and basically stalled the story until Legacy War.

Great ideas and setting with some 'meh' characters. Krayt was ok and I did find the revelation of his past interesting, though after that he's kinda boring. I wish Wyyrlok had been the main villain at the end. The concept of a Sith having a lineage and thought he could have been much better as a villain overall.

The new canon literature is going to have an opposite problem where its limited by serving the movies, but the point is I trust the movie folk more right now to do new Star Wars stuff.
