Detention is the idea of having a period a time added to the school day as punishment for poor behaviour or performance.

It can be effectively discipline if remedial training is provided during the detention period.

This is fucking shit, Jughead is off, not completely OOC but I don't think Zdarksy read enough Jug before writing or is taking too much liberty with "muh modern interpretation". However the issue was not even very funny, the character interactions were alright but doing a time travel story for issue 2 is retarded, you should be establishing yourself as a good Archie writer, not doing the silly shit they rarely do in Archie.
I do not know how the editor let this be the issue 2 story, what a hack.

Zdarsky's trying to do a short-story format within the requirement that every story must be book-length, so it's basically one regular Jug story split in half and separated by a daydream/fantasy story.
