>Bad People Don't Deserve No Love...
In 1981 there was a plan for revenge.
Feelings don't have to be old to be mourned.
This is the story of a man in love with a woman.
A man they knew only as Mr. Sunshine...
This is-
Stray Bullets #50-54 (S&R #1-5)
And here we go with the most current arc...

Welcome back, Orson.
You son of a bitch.
It's him alright
He's made quite the name for himself
Oh Joey
Lapham decided to take that drinking line from the Seaside arc pretty handedly
...ya don't say, Joey?
Huh.
Hahaha jesus christ.
Hahaha why would they try it again?
Glad you're back dude.
you do good things for the masses
Part 52:

bamp
>>77460268
RIP in fucking peace you beautiful diamond.
>>77464550
A better man we have not known
>>77464582
I feel like Orson acts as a sort of the prototype for Eli, if that makes sense. The series as a whole has various archetypes it likes to cycle through (as well as the actual same characters reappearing after a time jumo) - although in issues like #21 or Amy Racecar Lapham takes a detour from the normal conventions of what these characters should be like, or even what a crime noir should be like.
I mean personally the interesting thing for me is how everything flows into the events of #1.
>>77464803
Oh no, I felt the same way, or - rather - that Eli is an Orson without the inherent bravado and/or courage.
Eli is more of a coward and shows signs of pettiness, slight points. Plus, he takes the easy route.
In complete contrast with Orson - who always DOUBLES down.
Highlighted when Orson and Beth argue about him just going to college, and with Eli it feels passive agressive, but with Orson - he just can't help but mean it
>>77464803
>Amy Racecar
I love how we can try to see what exactly, and when exactly, Virginia was writing those and maybe try and find some foreshadowing.
up top
>>77464803
It's cute that you guys feel the same way when the author literally explains that by having Gil succeed William as Amy's sidekick.
Poor Rose, though. It's a shame she can't get her slut on without getting in some kind of trouble. I actually kind of like her.
>>77466478
I was actually going to mention that but as you said it was pretty obvious. I was talking more about how Eli is more ridden with flaws.
>>77461629
Why is Monster such a robot in these later issues?
In the early issues, he was this loud racist type that kept saying sick shit. Now he's just doing sick shit
>>77469250
Depends on who he's talking to, I guess.l
boop
>>77469250
It's all personal in other affairs
>>77461602
Orson is a FUCKING SAVAGE
>>77479170
You don't fuck with mr. sunshine
>>77461655
I mean honestly she seems much more worthy of sympathy than Beth.
>>77479198
In a way, for sure.
She's just been trapped, almost somewhat similarly to Nina, by Harry and this mob.
Plus she has Joey - and he's not right.
I like Beth in later issues, but she's rough.
