I'm more of a Marvel fan, but I'm really impressed how they made him into this unstoppable force + living nightmare wrapped up in blue lightning.

Honestly Zoom. RF had some great moments like him brutally icing those guards but I more just enjoyed Cavanagh being a smug bastard as Wells. Plus the final fight with RF was kinda lame, nowhere near as good as the midseason one.

Zoom, however, has been so goddamn scary and brutal and Tony Todd's voice is pure sex. God I hope CW doesn't fuck this up.

I enjoyed Winter Soldier and Ant-Man immensely. They're probably my 2 favorite MCU films, but the Flash and Daredevil are just head and shoulders above them. I think it might depend on the character. Captain America feels more suited to a big screen, 2 hour adventure to me (admittedly, without a ton of knowledge of his comics). Superman probably does better in that format too (assuming a good movie, anyway) instead of a weekly series. But other characters? Absolutely better off with a weekly. But I think my favorite part of this episode is that it played with our emotions so well.

We figured it would be a Season 1 Reverse-Flash type of episode, where Eobard or a meta chooses not to go all out. But Jay was right: you come at the king, you best not miss. And, of course, we see that the Flash team's nonchalance towards Zoom almost kills and literally cripples Barry.

Sure, they know he's big, bad, and dangerous, but Barry's successfully dealt with that before, right? Nope. Zoom is a completely different thing, who's not afraid to even ruin The Flash's rep while whooping him.

I dunno about a bunch. Episode 8 is now the official crossover episode every year, and I'm sure we'll get another Felicity solo-crossover.

I think Flash'll tone it back this season though since it's more established this year so there's no need to hype up small cameos like they'll be huge deals.

I can get Iris's point honestly. Every last person in her life was hiding this from her and only her. Eddie knew, Barry knew, her dad knew, she claims to have gotten to know Caitlyn and Cisco over the course of Barry's recovery even though we never see them really interact.
