well, /co/? one more episode with laura in?
this episode would be a good swan song for me
Damn right she like the wet willie!
>>64355593
I'd let her get my willie wet.
It's too late. Any classic character they bring back will be bastardized for a cheap joke or a shell of what made them memorable.
Case in point.
>>64355738
>simpsonsfags will defend this
>>64355738
What the fuck is this? Did they actually just throw him in for a second and then just forget about it?
What is she even gonna do? It's been TWENTY TWO YEARS since her only episode. We haven't even seen her mom since the muscle episode.
>>64355738
I don't know who the hell they made this joke for. The original episode was so long ago that newcomers to the show wouldn't get it, and people that would get it either stopped watching years ago or would be disgusted that they'd reduce such a poignant episode to a cheap joke. I think it's an example of the writers just not giving a fuck.
>>64355947
Yeah they really did.
Marge called up to Lisa that her vegetables were getting cold and that "someone who loves you" was adding hot butter to them. Cut to Bergstrom and Marge telling him she'd tell Lisa he stopped by.
>>64355956
Cat fight with the chick who flashed her boob to bart.
Stop it. Stop it.
>>64356249
HA, didn't know there was more to that Sensible Chuckle scene
>>64355738
Who's this guy?
>>64356444
Someone who Lisa loves
>>64355593
>>64355738
I can't believe the amount of butthurt this little gag generated.
It was one of few times modern Simpsons got a laugh out of me.
>>64356137
>>64355956
I wonder if Laura would have the edge.
>>64355998
the writers just want to be edgy and unusual and hip and dramatic and clever. the most recent episode, the bizarre musical about bart getting horses laid, shows that clearly
they have talent as writers, it's just not comedy talent. at all.
anyway laura powers was hot and awesome. we need more girls like that i say! more! not just wendy

Imagine if they brought back Leon Kompowsky as a homeless impersonator in Hollywood telling them things have been tough since about five years ago.
Or if they put Karl randomly in a gay club in a mesh t-shirt and raver gear just because he's gay.
That's what this was like.
>>64357544
for a second you seriously had me thinking hollywood had 'homeless impersonators' as some kind of performance art or something a building hires to seem like it has indy cred
>>64356137
I wanna see a Royal Rumble with all Bart's Ex-girlfriends.
>>64357601
I wager 400 quatloos on the jailbird.
>>64356249
So what's the source of this anyway?
>>64356444
A pedophile
>>64355738
it's not like old simpsons never did this
>what happened to mindy simmons?
>she got real drunk and stopped coming to work
>drunken strung-out lurleen voiced by doris grau
the difference is, and it's the same with everything else people complain about latter-day simpsons doing (celebrity guests, wackiness, etc), that it was FUNNY back then. and it's NOT funny now. if it was, you should shut up.. but it's not. but you should still shut up about WHAT they're doing and focus on how it's not funny.

They were trying to bring Karl's VA back for a cheap gag scene a few seasons ago, but the actor would have nothing to do with it.
>>64358548
> Based Karl
good to see the VA takes after the character he plays
>>64358548
as if that would stop them
>>64358064
Danger Five, it's an Australian parody show of old school spy films. It's also made by the folks who made Italian Spiderman

>That chair
Every time
>>64359869
Is it as good as that advert makes it look?
>>64359869
That appears to be just about everything I want in a parody.
>>64359869
Oh my god this looks incredible
>>64355998
Clearly they made it for themselves and long-termers who've stuck with the show.
Just because you don't fall into either group doesn't make it a bad joke - it's actually kind of funny, if awkwardly timed in terms of the season they used it in. All it means is that you've moved on.
Remember that, anon? When you used to be able to accept that you'd moved on?
>>64360062
Oh god, now i see the chair...
There's no such thing as good animation anymore these days is there?
>>64355593
Didn't they write that the Powers moved away back in season 21 or whatever?
>>64365320
They also wrote in Season 14 that Ruth went to jail when the judge dismissed her husband's charges due to his lawyer's incompetence.
