So basically Ive always been a picky/bordering on autist eater and Ive recently started college
The house I'm living in only has hobs and a microwave, no oven or grill.
What im looking for is simple shit you can basically make in a frying pan / pot fairly cheaply. Preferably meat/chicken/pasta based
Ive cooked before so I dont mind if theyre not the easiest. Dont really wanna start getting into the habit of buying the premade microwave dinners either.
Good sites to get recipes are also welcome

Wait, you have a stove but not an oven? Or are you working from a hotplate? It sounds like a slow-cooker is going to be your best friend here. Plug it in, pop in a chuck roast with some potatoes, carrots, onions, celery, and water, and you're good to go.

>no salt or herbs
I mean, it will still be edible, but fuck. You can still just keep it simple as salt, black pepper, and one herb like parsley, oregano, sage, or thyme.

learn this and use it until you're actually skilled at cooking enough to not need it anymore. its braindead easy and there's so many variations online that you will be able to cook food you enjoy forever if you so please.
>get relatively thinly sliced meats (no thicker than an inch because it will not cook enough without drying out)
>seasoning of choice (marinade, cajun spice, bbq sauce, other spice blends)
>sear on both sides until temp is reached in the middle (get a meat thermometer if you're bad at gauging it on look and touch)
>get a microwave steamer rig/bags
>steam veggies, don't overcook because it will taste like bird shit
>always get fresh veggies for best results
>drain and season veggies with olive oil, salt, and pepper or seasoning you put on meat if applicable
>bone apple teeth
Healthy, and limitless applications for eating for one. Did it all the times in the dorms, but seared and then baked chicken for better results. My faves:
>chicken marinated in italian dressing with broccoli
>bbq pork chop with green beans
>bratwurst with grey poupon and carrots and beets(boil in beer after searing)
Good luck anon

Oh fuck off. People can google a pot roast recipe. Do you need me to tell you about every bay leaf? Apparently you do.
