Alright, here's the deal.
Carob is widely used in the southern-most part of my country. They use it in cakes, they use it in pies, they use it in lots of traditional and conventual sweets. It's a staple food.
THING IS, I want to make cookies with it. Crumbly on the outside, chewy on the inside, cookies.
But when I try to search for a good recipe for it, all I get is "grain free no allergies cookies", "vegan carob chia cookies" or retarded shit like that. I DON'T FUCKING WANT VEGAN CAROB COOKIES, I DON'T WANT TO REPLACE CHOCOLATE WITH IT, I DON'T HAVE ANY GOD DAMNED ALLERGIES, I JUST WANT REGULAR UNHEALTHY CHOCOLATE LADEN COOKIES.
So. Does any of you kind anons have a non-retarded recipe for carob cookies? I have wide access to raw carob pods, I have the ability to grind them into fine untoasted carob powder or roast the pods for toasted carob powder. I can use them to make syrup or even carob chips.
Thank you kind, understanding souls in advance.

You can just replace chocolate with carob in any recipe you choose.

Replace half the flour of a regular recipe with it.
If they turn out weird, add more or use less.
Continue until decent result.
you're going to find one and make it and it's going to be exactly the same as the no-allergen recipe. you're like the people who would die of thirst if they ever realized water was kosher.
Not surprised somebody that writes like that has to get their hand held at all time and can't think for themselves. Stick to buying cookies and stuffing your face you absolute donut.
