Well, I'm sure they spent a great deal more time thinking about it than I have, but honestly op. All you need is the ability to produce heat and flame, an oven thermometer to make sure it is accurate and a meat/candy thermometer. Beyond that, they're kind of the same past shitty apartment versions and hellish electric nightmares.
