That is probably an extremely low minority of viewers. I live in the south and grew up with a very religious family. They only said grace for special occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas

I think you may be wrong about that. Whenever I've gone to a casino buffet in MS I always see groups of people bowing their heads before they eat and I assume they're saying grace. Never have seen that done in public much outside the south, though.
