cooking sake is full of salt and other stuff that would cause it to be pretty much undrinkable unless you wanted a bad hangover and you have a good gag reflex. luckily because of that, if you keep it in the fridge it'll last pretty much indefinitely.

if you want a good thing to do with sake, you can make a good chicken marinade with ginger, garlic, sugar, soy sauce, and obviously sake. i put the chicken in inch pieces and marinate it in the morning, it's ready for starch and frying karaage by night.
