wegman's is alright. it's basically just a big grocery store.

i only shop there because they carry every flavor of halo top.

Isn't it like a standard supermarket, aside from certain appeals to Whole Foods esque shoppers (which one finds in many supermarkets in upscale areas)?

Good specialty cheeses and they've got the best price for pre-shredded chedder and mozzarella. Meat's kinda' pricey but a good quality and sometimes you can find something discounted (they've got a really good applewood smoked breakfast sausage or somesuch we hoover up when it goes on sale). House brand soda's pretty decent and hits $0.69 for 2-liters fairly regularly, pasta hits $0.79 a pound pretty regularly, their big-ass family packs of cereal are bargains for those specific types and they've also got plenty of good normal-sized knockoffs of a shitton of products (they just came out with a Peanut Butter Crunch facsimile and their mint Not-Oreos are like fucking crack).

Also have a bunch of smaller and niche brands so it's well worth taking your time and checking everything out. Found some good breaded chicken breast patties for $2.69 a pound I batch-cook and can then use for a sandwich/wrap whenever I'm in the mood, for example. Also check out the bakery, particularly their garlic tuscan loaves and donuts/bagels.

it's a nice grocery store. it's better than walmart or shoprite.

They are a bit pricier but are better quality than their competition, at least in my area. I'll go there to pick up a Danny's Favorite sub and some produce and meat and the go to another grocer to get bread and canned/boxed goods.
