I'm straining greek yogurt to make cream cheese.
I want to use some for bagels, what should I put in it for a savory spread? I've only thought of maybe chipotle or chives, but I want ideas.

Strained greek yogurt = labneh, not cream cheese. It's still going to taste like yogurt after straining, only the texture will be more dense and dry, similar to a fresh goat cheese.

One of my favorite snacks is a nice piece of soft bread with a layer of cream cheese and a slice of good hard sausage like salami or prosciutto. It's better eaten like an open-face pausenbrot than a sandwich with two pieces of bread. The ratios are just right that way.
