>>>dry or wet?
refers to amount of vermouth used. less is dry, standard amount is wet.
>>>dirty?
added olive juice
just fuck around till you get it right
switch is up everytime you mix a new one
also consider pure ethanol instead gin of vodka, or rum for that matter. Light rum will also work

Gin. Any brand better than Gordon's, gin really doesn't vary in quality as much as they want you to think.
"Gin martini straight up with olives."
"What type of gin sir?"
"Tanqueray."
I say this, knowing that it's probably the cheapest acceptable gin they have.
>>9379253
The great part about martinis is that it's 2 shots of liquor for the price of a mixed drink. $10 average around here. I like martinis guys.

I don't get the whole anti-vermouth thing with drier and drier martinis. You end up basically drinking chilled gin or vodka. Fine if you like that, but it's meant to be a cocktail.

Why don't you share them with your wife or girlfriend?

I'm lazy though so I dump about 3 oz vodka into a glass, put a tiny bit of tonic in there and a little squirt of lemon juice. Also ice

Bombay Sapphire, sweet vermouth, shaken vigorously, garnished with a twist of lime.
>>9378996
Gin for sure. Vodka lacks gin of any sort.
As for the garnishes, You can get pretty creative. I occasionally put some pickled herring on a skewer instead of olives; it still gives the salt factor, but with a slightly fishy, tang.
It's much better than it sounds.
