Could you make instant rice with a kettle?
The conventional instructions for preparing it are 1) boil water 2) add rice 3) wait five minutes. But it suggests doing all of this on the stove with a pot. But if I do it in a bowl, and quickly wrap it with cling film, the heat should stay in right?

Maybe you could keep adding hot water over and over, but I wouldn't use cling wrap. Doesn't cling wrap melt?
