>start keto diet
>never feel full
>so sick of food I can barely stomach the 2000 calorie maintenance
>keto 1 week now
/fit/ memed me. I'm dieting and felt great on 1000 calorie high carb diet, now I feel like shit eating twice as much restraining myself from enjoying proper meals.
What's wrong with people they'd willingly follow a high fat diet, let alone hardline keto? High carb is more healthy anyway. It's proven 60% carb, 15% protein creates the greatest life expectancy with sample sizes of literally billions to draw data from.

Most people lack the self control to just eat what they want in moderate amounts so as to not exceed maintenance, so they need to follow a set of memes to make it harder on themselves.
this is why you don't follow meme internet diets. if you're really overweight your best bet is just eating a 500 calorie deficit each day and exercising a few times a week.
things like carb-cycling are legit, and pseudo-ketogenic diets can work, but from what i've heard they're really only ideal if you're already at a low bodyfat percentage (8-10%) and you're trying to cut down to have body-builder tier definition. one other thing: going on a full keto diet for a long period of time can be dangerous.

eat less than 2000 you fucking idiot
If you never feel full, lower carb intake to ~20g.
