What does /ck/ think of quorn products?
I just made a chilli with it for my vegetarian mother and was surprised at how it actually wasn't too bad.
They make really good stuff. Their burgers are pretty meaty and smokey, their breakfast sausages legit taste like decent sausage patties, and their chicken strips or whatever are supposedly great as well.
The only shitty part is they do have a lot less protein in their stuff than their competitors. I stick to beyond meat for protein, but Quorn for a nice meal on a Sunday or something.
Good shit. Wish they sold it here in Canada. I remember not liking the peppered steaks but everything else was good. This used to be my jam back a few years ago.

Veggie mince actually works really well with stews/chili. I've got a 500g packet in the freezer and could use it for my next batch.
Are you in the UK?
Linda McCartney makes a really nice veggie lasagna. Nicer than the Quorn ones. A lot of veggie options are hit and miss, depending on your taste. They also make delicious mozarella quarter pounder burgers and sausages.
I used to eat meat free stuff all the time. The country pies are also delicious, they tasted exactly like steak & kidney puddings you get from the chippy.
