Okay /ck/ so I am curious. Which is the better tortilla, corn or flour based? Or better yet when is one a superior option over the other?

It's gonna depend on what you got. If you have a shitty "Corn" tortilla, flour by far. Corn is more traditional though, and if you have a properly made one, made out of actual fucking masa, it has a much better and more distinctive flavor
There is room in my heart for both.
Corn is indisputably superior when it's freshly made. After like 30 minutes though, flour is better. That's why flyovers hate corn tortillas, they never cook so their only experience of them is stale shit from a bag.
