Is this a good grill for a begginer? I saw this Kingsford grill for 80 bucks, it works with charcoal but there's also a variant that uses gas for the same price.
Gas or charcoal? And, is this a nice grill for a Noob?

Better off having a gas and charcoal. Lighting up charcoal to grill one steak feels like a waste.
I only use the charcoal if I'm feeding a lot of people or I'm doing low and slow.

Oddly enough I just used one of those this weekend. Seems nice enough for grilling, but I don't think I'd want to use it to smoke or make actual BBQ. Personally I'd spend the extra coin and get a standard Weber kettle.

I second this sentiment. To add to it, in terms of gas grills, I really appreciate my decision to get a natural gas model hooked up directly to my home gas. No fucking around with propane tanks and since I'm in a cold climate it's really nice to just flip a couple valves to fire it up when it's -20F outside.
