How do I make thing that don't taste bland with out buying off the shelve premade sauces? Anytime I make something it will taste bland without adding tons of premade sauces

Most premade sauces have a ton of sugar, so you need to add more sugar. Try powdered sugar or brown sugar rather than regular sugar for a nice change.

use proper tomato sauce from a can, but not an actual sauce. like san marzano and a tbls of sugar and some fried onion, garlic and a little basil and thyme for herbage.
