They take my wife and I out to expensive Japanese steakhouses, Ruth's Chris, you name it. But when it's my money we often go there instead. Their steaks rival anything I've eaten elsewhere.

If you "doubt that", my guess is you've never been so your opinion doesn't matter much.

Longhorn is actually really good. Been to more upscale places where the steaks were not at all better.
Anyway I order either the filet, the ribeye other the New York strip.

More upscale local places, yes the Longhorn steaks are on par or better. In truly upscale restaurants in big cities, then yeah those are much better.

Longhorn stands alongside Olive Garden and Red Lobster as miserably unhealthy overpriced food aimed at middle class persons. Sorry, you all have shit taste.
